John Kasper began his insurance career in 1954 with a simple philosophy: put the client first and treat every person like family. He built the agency on honesty, integrity, and a genuine desire to help people understand and protect what matters most. As the insurance industry evolved over the decades, John modernized the agency and adapted to new products and regulations, but he never changed the heart behind his work.
In August of 2025, at the age of 94, John officially retired after
more than seven decades of dedicated service. On March 29, 2026, John Kasper passed away, leaving behind a legacy that cannot be replaced. While no one will ever truly fill his shoes, he entrusted the agency to his son Anthony—who has been in the business for more than 30 years—to continue leading with the same values, work ethic, and client‑first philosophy that John instilled from the very beginning. We will always strive to honor him in everything we do.

Anthony has been in the insurance business for more than 30 years, working alongside his father to keep the agency current with new technology and the many changes that have shaped the industry over the decades. His experience, steady leadership, and deep product knowledge have helped guide the agency through periods of growth and transition while ensuring clients always receive clear, dependable service. Just as importantly, Anthony remains committed to the same family‑based values that John established in 1954—honesty, integrity, and treating every client like family. His dedication to preserving those principles continues to define Kasper Insurance today.
Paul joined the team in July of 2014, becoming the third generation of Kaspers to serve clients through the family agency. Before that, he gained valuable industry insight working in a call center for a major insurance company in 2012, an experience that gave him a strong understanding of how carriers operate behind the scenes. Working side by side with his father and grandfather, Paul has developed a deep commitment to client service and a practical, solutions‑focused approach. His background and perspective allow him to better anticipate client needs and provide clear, dependable guidance.
Jarrod joined our agency in January of 2025, bringing with him 5½ years of retail experience, including roles that required strong customer service and problem‑solving skills. He has been diligent and focused throughout his training, quickly developing the knowledge and confidence needed to serve clients well. Jarrod fits perfectly into the “Friendly Agent” category—he has a great personality, connects easily with people, and genuinely enjoys helping clients navigate their insurance options. His enthusiasm and commitment make him a valuable part of the next generation at Kasper Insurance.
Steve is an independent financial advisor, who believes the true art of financial guidance is not so much in the accumulation of assets, but is in the preservation and distribution of those assets.
He has been providing highly individualized financial guidance to clients across the nation for over 30 years. In addition to being a popular speaker and lecturer, Steve is the Host of Safe Money Radio, an hour-long radio show in Louisville and Cincinnati, explaining strategies that can keep investors ahead of inflation after tax without ever risking any of their principal.
Planning for retirement does not have to be complicated, but it should be comprehensive. With Steve on our team, we now have strategic alliances with accountants, attorneys and other professionals to help us bring a multi-disciplined approach to the planning process.

Brice brings more than a decade of experience in the food service industry, including several years in management where he developed strong leadership, organizational, and financial skills. His background has made him an exceptional money manager with a natural ability to help people set goals and stay on track. Brice approaches retirement planning with diligence, clarity, and a genuine desire to help clients build a secure financial future. His commitment to service and steady, detail‑oriented approach makes him a valuable part of our growing retirement income planning team.
Ginny Hardwick
Administrative Assistant
Ginny joined Kasper Insurance in March of 2022, bringing with her more than 25 years of management and customer service experience in the banking industry. Her background has given her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a natural ability to support both clients and the team with professionalism and care. Christy has joined the Kasper family not only through marriage to Anthony, but also as a valued member of the Kasper Insurance team. With extensive customer service experience and a genuine heart of compassion, she brings both skill and sincerity to every client interaction. Christy adds a whole new level of fun, energy, and hard work to the agency, helping create an environment where clients feel welcomed and cared for. We’re grateful to have her as part of our growing team.
Laura Lawson
Communication Specialist
Laura began working with Kasper Insurance part‑time during our busy Open Enrollment season, and it quickly became clear that her hard work, attention to detail, and genuine care for our clients made her an invaluable part of the team. Because of the impact she made, we simply couldn’t let her go. Laura now continues to support us during Open Enrollment and has taken on the role of Communication Specialist.
In this position, she helps manage our newsletters, updates, and client notifications—ensuring you stay informed and connected throughout the year. Laura’s dedication and steady presence make her an important part of our ongoing commitment to excellent client service.
